Magdalena Stobinska, PhD, is a professor at the University of Warsaw, head of the Quantum Technologies Research Group and CEO of levelQuantum. She specializes in quantum information processing, covering the range from communications and cryptography, to metrology, to quantum computing and algorithms.
In 2022, Magdalena graduated from the Leadership Academy for Poland and UBS Project Female Founders, and in 2024 she participated in the NATO DIANA (Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic) program. She was awarded the Alexander von Humboldt, Marie Curie, Foundation for Polish Science and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education scholarships for Outstanding Young Scientists, as well as the “Rzeczpospolita Cyfrowa” and “Polish Woman of the Year” awards, and was included in the Forbes Women “100 Women of the Year 2023” list.
She is also the manager and coordinator of a number of research projects, including the European Innovative Training Network “AppQInfo” bringing together 18 institutions under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (Horizon 2020). She serves on the board of the Quantum Alliance Initiative (USA).
