Jakub Tomasz Gnyp is a Senior Data Scientist working on fatigue modelling for US Air Force, US Navy and others with Pulsar Informatics. Prior to this, he worked as a computational scientist in the Condensed Matter Spectroscopy Division at the University of Gdańsk and at the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT) as part of the Quantum Cybersecurity and Communications group, among his industrial experience as a data scientist.
Jakub is an accomplished public speaker with a proven track record in hosting both business and scientific events. His engagement in this field began in high school, where he distinguished himself as the leader of the non-profit Poland Business Week Association and through collaborations with organisations such as Talkersi and Inkubator Starter.
He holds a BSc in Mathematical Modelling and Data Analysis and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Physics, having been conditionally accepted into an MRes programme at Imperial College London. Additionally, he has gained experience as an analyst on offshore wind farm construction projects in Antwerp, Belgium, with Ultra NDT.
With his passion for public speaking and the physical sciences, Jakub is exceptionally well-suited to host Q-Con.
