Prof. Teodor Buchner

Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), Leader of the Complex Systems Dynamics Group

Prof. Buchner specialises in the intersection of physiology, nonlinear dynamics, and quantum technologies. His research spans cardiovascular electrophysiology, where he models heart conduction using nonlinear oscillators, to the application of quantum measurement techniques in biomedical contexts such as magnetocardiography.

He has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers, with notable contributions to chaos theory in biological systems and the physical modelling of biopotentials. Prof. Buchner also plays an active role in national and international quantum initiatives, including NATO’s Transatlantic Quantum Community, and serves on the board of Cluster Q.

With over two decades of industry experience, he bridges academic insight with practical innovation in medical physics and cybersecurity.
