Cezary Szwed, PhD, a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology and an assistant professor at the Faculty of Management at Warsaw University of Technology, as well as a member of the Modelling and Production Organisation Centre, specializes in the intersection of management sciences, automation, and power engineering. His research encompasses process optimization using mathematical models and various classes of algorithms, alongside power and energy consumption management, and the modeling and implementation of energy market mechanisms.
He is the author of over 40 scientific publications and conference presentations, with contributions to the fields of applied informatics, energy market operations, and management. He has over two decades of experience in the power sector, where he has held managerial, advisory, and expert roles.
As part of his professional activities, he has worked and collaborated with power sector companies, including the PGE Group, ENEA Group, and PSE. This allows him to effectively bridge academic insight with practical innovation in industrial modeling and optimization, as well as the implementation of new solutions for power industry enterprises.
