Jakub is a Finance and Accounting student at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, active
at the intersection of business, the public sector, and community engagement. He has been
shaping communities and projects since the age of 13, when he began helping to grow the
player community for Epic Games.
During high school, following a competition win, he co-founded Arete Projects – a venture
working with the public sector in Gdańsk. Alongside his entrepreneurial work, he serves as
Board Member and Treasurer of EVENTRE, a Pomeranian non-profit, where he coordinates
onBoard – the largest educational tour in the region, designed to help young people enter the
job market more consciously and make better-informed decisions about their professional
futures. The initiative is delivered in partnership with the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan
Area.
With an interdisciplinary approach, Jakub works across business and social impact
initiatives. Living and studying in Warsaw while remaining rooted in the Tricity, he draws on
the experience and opportunities of two of Poland’s major urban centres – building a bridge
between them and leveraging the strengths each has to offer. A strong believer in
peer-to-peer education, he is committed to creating development initiatives in smaller urban
centres and bringing meaningful opportunities beyond the largest metropolitan hubs.
