Mateusz Ozimek is Head of the Space Technologies Team at EXATEL and an Assistant Professor at the Warsaw University of Technology. His work focuses on quantum communications and secure telecommunications.
His work focuses on the deployment of quantum technologies in real-world infrastructures, particularly quantum key distribution (QKD) and secure communication architectures. At EXATEL, he is involved in strategic R&D activities in quantum communications, satellite communications and space technologies. As EXATEL’s R&D Project Manager in the SEQRET project (Secure and Industrialized Quantum Distribution for European Telecom Networks), he contributes to the development and industrial deployment of quantum-secure communication technologies across European telecom networks.
Beyond quantum technologies, his research focuses on complex systems, information transfer, and nonlinear data analysis. He earned his PhD in physics from the Warsaw University of Technology, where his doctoral research investigated entropy-based methods for ECG analysis and the dynamics of complex systems.
Combining academic research with industrial innovation, Mateusz works at the intersection of quantum technologies, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure, contributing to the development of next-generation secure communication networks.
