Krzysztof Kaczurba

Strategy, Development & Innovation Leader, Orange Polska

For many years, he has worked at Orange Polska, where he is responsible for Development Strategy. His work focuses on exploring new markets, technological innovation, new business models, and financing mechanisms, with a particular emphasis on European funding opportunities and identifying new sources of value through innovation.

He looks beyond the traditionally understood telecommunications market, focusing especially on ICT and IoT, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, breakthrough technologies, and their dual-use applications. He analyses their potential impact and business value for Orange, identifies opportunities to create and capture value from emerging technologies, recommends strategic directions, and leads key development projects in these areas. He is also responsible for the strategy and coordination of European funding activities at Orange.

He supports Orange’s cooperation with innovative technology companies by combining business and strategic insight with the identification of suitable financing mechanisms, including European funds. He builds strategic alliances and supports the development of joint projects designed to create long-term value for Orange and its partners through the use of breakthrough technologies.

One of the areas he is currently focusing on are quantum technologies, particularly solutions for secure communications. Together with Orange Innovation Polska and the B2B Marketing team, he coordinates Orange’s cooperation with LQ on a project in this field.

At Q-Con Quantum Conference 2026 in Gdańsk, he will present together with Orange’s partner, LQ, in a joint session entitled:

“Big Fish, Small Fish, One Quantum Pond”
Funded. Launched. Building.
