1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for participation in the Q-Con Quantum
Conference 2025 (hereinafter the “Conference”).
1.2. The Organizer of the Conference is the University of Gdańsk (hereinafter the
“Organizer”).
1.3. The Conference will be held on 29 August 2025 in Gdańsk, at a venue designated by the
Organizer.

2. Objectives of the Event

2.1. To promote the development of quantum technologies and their applications in
industry, science, education, and the public sector.
2.2. To exchange knowledge and experiences between representatives of academia,
business, investors, startups, public administration, and international organizations.
2.3. To present and discuss best practices in the following areas:
– Building a sovereign quantum industry (Deep Tech, Dual Use),
– Developing and scaling startups (Startup, Scaleup),
– EU strategies for quantum technologies and post-quantum cryptography,
– Education and talent development in STEM,
– Cross-border cooperation in Europe.

3. Conditions of Participation

3.1. Any adult person who has registered via the online form and paid the registration fee, if
applicable, may participate in the Conference.
3.2. The number of places is limited; registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
3.3. The Organizer reserves the right to verify participant data and to refuse participation to
individuals who have violated the rules of previous events organized by the Organizer or
whose behavior threatens the safety of other participants.

4. Registration and Payments

4.1. Registration is carried out exclusively online via the form available at
https://qcon.tech/tickets/.
4.2. The registration fee is specified in the price list available on the Conference website.
4.3. The Organizers reserve the right to issue promotional codes and to verify whether a
participant was entitled to use a given code.
4.4. A VAT invoice will be issued upon the participant’s request.

5. Conference Program

5.1. The program includes, among others, keynote speeches, panel discussions, networking
sessions, and startup presentations.
5.2. Topics include:
– How to build a sovereign quantum industry (DeepTech, DualUse),
– Startup success stories (Startup, Scaleup),
– EU Strategy on quantum technologies and Post-Quantum Cryptography Roadmap,
– Education and talent development (STEM, Opportunity),
– Cross-border cooperation in Europe (Networking, BreakingSilos).
5.3. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program, including changes to
speakers and schedules, without prior notice, provided such changes do not significantly
alter the nature of the event.

6. Code of Conduct

6.1. Participants are required to comply with applicable laws, principles of social conduct,
and these Terms and Conditions.
6.2. Audio and video recording is prohibited without the consent of the Organizer and
speakers.
6.3. The Organizer provides technical support, participant badges, and access to areas
designated for registered attendees.

7. Liability

7.1. The Organizer is not responsible for participants’ personal belongings left unattended.
7.2. The Organizer is not responsible for any losses resulting from cancellation or
rescheduling of the event due to causes beyond the Organizer’s control (e.g., force majeure).

8. Personal Data Processing

8.1. The personal data controller is Aisling Events Ltd.
8.2. Participants’ personal data is processed for the purpose of organizing and conducting
the Conference, in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the event website.
8.3. Participants have the right to access their data, correct it, request deletion, and restrict
processing in accordance with the GDPR provisions.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. These Terms and Conditions are effective from the date of publication on the event
website.
9.2. Matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions are governed by Polish law.
9.3. Participation in the Conference constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
