Hugo Lehmann combines a strong scientific background with extensive experience in technology, innovation, and management. As Chief Partnership and Technology Transfer Officer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), he leads strategic partnerships, technology transfer initiatives, and innovation activities.
Prior to joining METAS, he held several leadership and innovation-related roles at Swisscom, where he focused on innovation and technology management, regulatory affairs, and the creation and operation of competence centers and accredited testing laboratories.
He holds a PhD in Nuclear Physics from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and complemented his scientific education with a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Management, Technology and Economics from ETH Zurich and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Innovation from the Bern University of Applied Sciences. In his free time Hugo tries to learn playing the bassoon.
