He has led security efforts on key systems such as the UK’s Covid-19 response, LIMS-based pathology systems, electronic patient record management systems, patient-facing healthcare accessibility mobile applications, and research on offensive methods against AI-supported pathology diagnosis tools.
James is highly committed to the popularisation and education of digital security awareness. He actively participates in various hackathons across the UK, frequently speaks at conferences on security topics, and leads educational outreach initiatives in computing and cyber security (eg. curator of BelTech EDU conference). As a leader in the field, he is passionate about advancing public understanding of the evolving threats in the digital landscape.
At the conference, James is looking forward to exploring and discussing the implications of quantum computing on the current security landscape and how it will transform the field of cyber security.
