Driven by a long-standing passion for quantum physics, Marta pursued studies in Physics and obtained a PhD at the Laboratoire Charles Fabry, where she worked on heat transfer at the nanoscale and developed numerical simulations for systems of non-linear partial differential equations in C++.
Since then, she has built nearly five years of experience in the quantum computing industry. First, she joined the quantum computing ecosystem as a Researcher in Quantum Algorithms at ColibrITD. There, she managed one of the company’s key projects, participated in conferences and outreach events, and contributed to discussions with investors and customers.
Today, she is a Quantum Algorithm and Application Scientist at Quandela. Alongside developing quantum algorithms and applications, she actively supports business development and technology adoption, representing the company in conferences, workshops, and pre-sales activities. Through these interactions with researchers, industrial partners, and customers, she helps bridge cutting-edge quantum technologies with real-world applications.
