Innovation Tech Lead at Kainos

Patryk has spent over a decade at Kainos, working on innovative commercial IT projects, and for more than three years, he’s been an Innovation Tech Lead. Prior to this, Patryk worked for two years at Politechnika Gdańska.

In his current capacity, Patryk is responsible for fostering collaboration with the academic sector and startups in Poland, actively participating in projects at the intersection of business and science. For years, he has actively contributed to Gdańsk’s innovation ecosystem, supporting the development of education and technological entrepreneurship.

As a member of the Smart Specialisations for Pomerania (ISP) Working Group for ICT, he has actively participated in defining the innovation strategy for the Pomerania Region, with AI, Digital Twins, and Quantum identified as important aspects for the future development of Gdańsk and northern Poland. He’s also a member of several programme boards, including the BeSecure conference, the Computer Science programme at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics at the University of Gdańsk, and the Industry Advisory Board at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Politechnika Gdańska.
