Prof. Mohamed Bourennane

Professor at Stockholm University & Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences

Mohamed Bourennane is a professor at Stockholm University. He has obtained his PhD from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. He was a researcher at Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich, and Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, Garching, Germany.

The Swedish Research Council has awarded him a six-year senior research fellowship. Today, he has established a very young and dynamic research group in quantum information and quantum optics at Stockholm University. He has initiated, managed, and led projects financed by Swedish Research Council, the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, Stiftelsen Olle Engkvist, the Carl Tryggers Foundation, the Defence Material Administration (FMV), ABB, and the EU.

He is an elected member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
