Rafał Ołdziejewski is the co-founder and CEO of QuRA.space, which builds Rydberg-atom RF sensors for space and dual-use applications. The company grew out of RYDAR, a Rydberg RF detection system developed for the European Space Agency with Thales Alenia Space Italia and now nearing completion.
He also leads the Intelligent Quantum Sensors group at the University of Warsaw, working on modelling, inference and real-time control for quantum sensors, and holds a PhD in theoretical physics.
