Dr Rob Blenkinsopp is Spinout Manager at Qubis Ltd, Queen’s University Belfast’s commercialisation and technology transfer company. He is a core member of the team that provides the bridge from university innovation to commercial reality – actively supporting academics to commercialise their research, from first engagement across the full commercialisation journey to spinout and growth. Rob also works executing Qubis’s broader strategy on investments outside the university research base and sits on the boards of a number of Qubis spinout and external investment companies.
Rob holds a PhD from Loughborough University and before joining Qubis, was Head of Innovation for one of the world’s largest sports-brand portfolio companies, leading innovation activity and strategy that turned research into products used by everyone from professional athletes to the high street.
